Learn how to spot fake Nike Air Vapormax 97s with this detailed 30 point step-by-step guide by goVerify.
Nike Air Vapormax 97s come with reflective metallic mudguard stripes, when light hits them at the right angle they will shine quite powerfully
The top two mudguard stripes have a tube underneath them which gives them a rounded top surface shape. Also look for the positioning triangle tabs in the center of the stripes on the toebox, the white stripe has one on it's top side.
Look for the positioning hole drilled into the center of the forefoot insole, again check that the stitching joining the insole to the upper is neat and evenly spaced.
The right shoe will have an Air Max logo under the heel, make sure the typeface used is correct. Take note of the round dots around the edge of the center panel, make sure they have 2 thin lines embossed into them as a result of the molding process.
