4. Box Label

Nike retail boxes feature a label on one side detailing barcode, style name, size, color, country of manufacture and a style number. The style number is usually 9 digits long, the first 6 digits represent the style and the last 3 digits represent the colourway. Check that this style number matches the one located inside the shoe and on the sales receipt. Tip 1: Do a Google image search for "Nike"+"style number" to check the colourway. Tip 2: scan the barcode (even a photo of one) with a barcode scanner app, the exact product including size should be correct.

16. Tongue Structure

Nike Air Jordan 20's have a padded tongue that becomes an inner sleeve, for maximum support. The tongue/sleeve is made of a few panels, take note of the joins between the panels and the stitch line half way up the tongue. This stitch line does not run the full width of the central panel.

20. Lace Tips

Black Nike Air Jordan's have metal lace tips that have a Jumpman figure debossed into them.

32. Sockliner

Black Air Jordan 20's come with molded sockliners that provide maximum support and comfort, take note of the lining texture and colour.
