Learn how to spot fake Nike Air Jordan Dub Zero's with this detailed 28 point step-by-step guide by goVerify.
Nike retail boxes feature a label on one side detailing barcode, style name, size, color, country of manufacture and a style number. The style number is usually 9 digits long, the first 6 digits represent the style and the last 3 digits represent the colourway. Check that this style number matches the one located inside the shoe and on the sales receipt. Tip 1: Do a Google image search for "Nike"+"style number" to check the colourway. Tip 2: Scan the barcode with a barcode scanner app, the exact product including size should be correct.
Nike Air Jordan Dub Zero's will have a metal lace hook with a small Jumpman debossed into it. Check the quality of the Jumpman debossing, that the edges are slightly rounded. Check that the stitching around the metal lace hook is tight, neat and even. This is also a good opportunity to have a closer look at the quality of the laser etched design.
If you remove the sockliners you can see the stitching joining the sole to the upper. Check that the stitching is tight and even. There should be a few holes through the midsole that allow light to shine through the bottom of the shoe, demonstrating the Air-Sole units.
The sole has an embossed Jumpman logo. Check that the edges of the Jumpman are sharp and that the Jumpman fits evenly in it's space.
