Inside the heel of Vans Authentic's there will be a support panel stitched into the upper. Make sure the stitching is tight, neat and evenly spaced. Make sure the double stitch line follows the shape of the panel perfectly. Check that the taping along the collar folds over the edge neatly and is cut cleanly with an even height.

There are a number of different factory codes that are used in various countries, one shoe style may have different factory codes.
